THIS FRONT PAGE NEWSPAPER ARTICLE, FROM EARLY 2013, IS A TESTAMENT TO OUR RESILIENCE
“Over the years, the driving force of the Youthie’s Board Members and staff, is the fact that young people and the community know and trust that the Youthie is there to support and help them.”
-Chris Hewgill, Youth Worker, 15 years
Securing on-going funding has always been a key issue for the Youth Centre. As a Charity with DGR status, the Youthie receives regular donations from the community and business houses. These have supported programs such as YouthVoice in the past. While also receiving some government and philanthropic grants, has meant The Youthie has been able to continue its history of support for local youth in the Nambucca Valley.
